The Gecko Deco skirt from our Bookish collection is inspired by Belle da Costa Greene, the trailblazing founding librarian of the Morgan Library. Harkening to the library's public opening in 1924, this skirt features a large-scale art deco style geometric print in green and blue. The print is the same on the front and back. This bold print is also available as a top in the Bookish collection.
The simple pull-on columnar style comes down to just over the knee, finished with a rolled hem. The wide elastic waistband sits comfortably just above the hipbone. The unlined skirt is made from 100% pure silk in a stretchy jersey knit.
